A propping agent, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The propping agent has a double-layer core-shell structure and comprises a propping agent inner core, an amphiphobic modifiied layer bonded to the surface of the propping agent inner core via a chemical bond, and a degradable polymer layer coating the surface of the amphiphobic modified layer, wherein polymerizable monomers of the degradable polymer layer comprise a catechol compound and a salt-resistant acrylate monomer. The propping agent is hydrophilic and easily dispersed on the ground, which is beneficial to fracturing construction, and same is amphiphobic on the underground surface, and thus can increase the long-term flow guide capacity of propped fracture.
