A Sprayable Hydrogel Based on Biomimetic Polypeptide?Modified Lipid Nanoparticles for Treating Non?Compressible Hemorrhaging (Adv. Mater. 27/2025)
Sprayable HydrogelThis study designs a sprayable hydrogel based on polypeptide?modified lipid nanoparticles (PLNs) to treat non?compressible hemorrhage. Functionalized with GFOGER and GGQQLK peptides, PLNs synergistically mimic natural hemostasis via platelet adherence and aggregation, Ca2+/DSPS?mediated prothrombin activation and fibrin network stabilization. The biomimetic system enables rapid clot formation by sequential coordinating primary hemostasis, coagulation amplification and fibrin reinforcement.
